In the mod manager I can activate the mods but when I start the game, the mods immedietly deactivate. MY FUCKING MODS AREN'T FUCKING WORKING! They worked when I downloaded them but now that I had to re-install New Vegas the fucking mods refuse to show up in my game! I HAVE SPENT 2 FUCKING DAYS TRYING TO GET THIS SHIT TO WORK! After waiting 6 hours for the shit to finish I opened up the Nexus Mod Manager and started Fallout New Vegas.
Now I had to re-install Fallout New Vegas, fucking wonderful. Then when I started New Vegas, Steam fucked up. After probably an hour of getting that shit fixed I finally downloaded 1 or 2 more mods before I was going to actually play the game. The next day (today) I received a wonderful "A disk read error occurred press Alt+Ctrl+Del to restart" messege when I started my PC. I had started a save and finished creating my character but spent zero time playing the game and only trying to get mods working, which is the single most frustrating thing in the world. I also downloaded Project Nevada which has to be downloaded manually but after watching 3 different tutorials I finally managed to do it.
Once the game was finally downloaded I managed to download some mods using the Nexus Mod Manager. So basically, I recently purchased Fallout New Vegas on PC because I wanted to use mods.
